On Friday 10th February our first guest speaker for 2017 will be Entrepreneur and Certified Business and Life Success Coach, Noor Hibbert.
Noor has been to Mama Social as an attendee a few times and this woman’s enthusiasm and zest for life is infectious!
Noors background is as a business woman; she started her first business as 31 weeks pregnant (!) and had huge success with her products featuring in Tatler and GQ and she’s soon to be visiting Hollywood as part of The Oscars’ Celebrity Gifting Suite.
Noor’s true passion however, lies in inspiring other mums to lead successful and fulfilling lives and now practises as a Certified Business and Life Success Coach This session isn’t exclusively for mums wanting to start their own businesses; Noor will not only be talking us through her amazing personal journey but she’ll also be offering her advice to us all on building your confidence both in business and as a mother.
We had such an amazing response to Friday’s meet. The ever-lovely Emma from Moss&Clover came down and brought lots of beautiful props as well as giving a pretty honest insight into how she manages to maintain the work/life balance.
We saw so many new faces this week and it was great chatting and finding out about what you talented mamas are up to.
This week also saw us send out our first monthly newsetter with details released about our first fantastic evening event….watch this space!! Continue reading “MEET // 5/02/15”
This week we braved the freezing temperatures to see Rosie from The Sheffield Sling Surgery speak at our meet. It was a truly enlightening talk which not only saw us trying out the slings (sleepy nico slings went down a treat) it also left us all feeling a lot more relaxed and confident about parenting. Rosie’s views on attachment parenting and in particular safe co-sleeping left me feeling less guilty and more reassured about having my little one in bed with me!
Here is the link to the Durham Institute of Sleep website which Rosie talked about (unfortunate acronym!)
The first meet was this Friday and what a meet it was! Jenny Mortimer of KyNa Boutique gave such a wonderfully inspiring talk. It was really interesting to hear how she has built her brand and how she manages the work/life balance.
I just want to say a massive thanks to everyone who came down and for all your positive feedback, it’s been quite overwhelming!
