We’re currently running a giveaway over on our Instagram feed. We’ve teamed up with Music in The Round and have a family ticket* to their latest production: “Sir Scallywag & The Battle of Stinky Bottom” at The Crucible Theatre on Saturday 5 March.
It’s the perfect introduction to live classical music for children age 3-8 years. This rudely hilarious concert is full of audience participation, so you and your children will be singing along, swinging your hips and shaking your bums! You can even learn the songs before you come on the Music in the Round website
This weeks guest mama is Rosie Knowles, founder of The Sheffield Sling Surgery. Not only is she coming to talk about setting up the sling surgery she is also bringing some of the slings for us to try out!
Rosie is a mum of 2, a GP, and a passionate advocate of sling and carrier use and education. She founded one of her local sling meets with some friends in 2012.
We’re looking forward to this weeks talk and we know the mamas who were there last week are too!

Mama Social is excited to announce our very first guest mama, children’s wear boutique owner and mama of three boys: Jenny Mortimer. She’ll be talking us through her career change from finance to fashion as well as sharing some insider knowledge on how she’s built her business into a global brand.
Jenny began KyNa Boutique after she struggles to find organic cotton clothes for her son on the high street. She found that the organic cotton helped relieve the symptoms of his eczema. Jenny now runs the boutique full time and stocks some fantastic brands including Slugs and Snails, Maxomorra, Gardner and the Gang and Indikidual amongst others.
